Corporate Communications

I led end-to-end production of large-scale corporate content, coordinating stakeholders across 31 institutions and 35+ entities to turn complex organisational data into narratives that work for regulators, investors, and prospective students alike.

Sizzle Reel

I wrote the script for the organisation's promotional Sizzle Reel, distilling the achievements of 31 global institutions into approximately two minutes of narrative that worked across multiple audiences: prospective partners, stakeholders, and recruitment targets. The challenge was balancing emotive storytelling with key statistics and ensuring the script could carry visual weight without overwhelming it. Working closely with the design team throughout production, I adjusted language to complement motion graphics and aligned narrative beats with visual moments. The result shows my ability to think beyond written formats, adapting storytelling techniques for multimedia, whilst maintaining strategic messaging discipline.

Annual Report
Managing the report from concept to publication meant developing content strategy, providing design guidance, and delivering all writing and editing, while coordinating stakeholders across multiple time zones. The real challenge was honouring each institution's individual identity and achievements while building one coherent narrative that positioned GUS as a unified global force in education, balancing regulatory compliance with storytelling that still had to be compelling to read.

Sustainability Report
For the Sustainability Report, I translated ESG data into a narrative across four impact themes: Education, Equality, Environment, and Ethics, positioning sustainability as central to organisational identity rather than a compliance exercise. Following publication, I wrote the award submissions behind two wins: the GUS CEO's ESG and Impact category win at the EducationInvestor Power List 2025, and Best ESG Campaign or Case Study to Reduce Inequality at the ESG and Sustainability Awards 2024, for FutureLearn's Higher Education in Afghanistan initiative.

Together, this work sits at the intersection of brand storytelling and corporate communications: projects of a scope few organisations would hand to a single content leader, and ones where the results, from board sign-off to industry recognition, speak for themselves.
